Are gold about to break out?

Gold is starting the trading week near 1788 USD/Oz, which would indicate a break out of the long down trend gold has been in for a long while by now.

G20 are to hold their summit 15. – 16., which probably be worth to keep an eye on.

Biden and Xi has held a meeting up to the beginning of the G20 summit. No news on the results of these talks yet. Monitor USDCNH.

Putin are still pressed in Ukraine and are not attending G20. Lavrov does and he has been to the hospital for a “check-up” in Indonesia. Keep an eye on XAUEUR.

We expect a volatile week for almost all instruments as everything from equites, forex, commodities are at exciting levels and there are related data and news coming out during the week that potentially can move the instruments into local highs and lows.
